Delay

What is a delay-step?

A delay step is a step that delays the execution of steps after delay-step inside a workflow.

What are the use-cases of a delay step?

Sometimes you would want to perform actions on your customer to set them up for success after a specific-time period to avoid spamming.

Some examples include:

  1. Check if your customers are performing KPIs (checked using trigger steps), and emailing them one week later.
  2. Show a feedback widget 1 day after trial extension was requested.
  3. Spanning out different campaigns through different time periods.
